Pre-Alloy phosphor bronze acoustic strings give acoustic players a high quality, long-lasting string that is bright and unusually well-balanced in tone (first) and volume (second). We are now making available an entirely All-American Alloy phosphor bronze string of great clarity and great durability.

"Hi-BEAM" 80/20 acoustics are designed for extra brightness, to cut through the ensemble playing of bluegrass musicians, as well as derive extra clarity from heavily braced, or dull sounding guitars. Wrapped upon a hex core the new "Hi-BEAM" 80/20 acoustics are handmade and hand wound for great tone, and increased longevity.

Low tension... the sound is Loud and Warm. The RARE phosphor bronze acoustic strings are a departure from the standard, good quality bronze string currently available... not necessarily better, but possessing a new, different, and stronger "voice".

SUNBEAM phosphor bronze strings are hand wound upon round cores which gives a terrific result: wonderful sustain...remarkable sustain. The tone does not decay as do other phosphor bronze strings, which we think seem to sustain in a straight line, until the sound "falls off". The SUNBEAM acoustics are musically bright and rich sounding. Additionally they are very flexible...more so than any other string we have played.

DR's EXTRA-Life strings offer players a superior coated string without sacrificing the crisp tone, clarity, and volume of traditional DR HandMade Strings. EXTRA-Life has a super thin advanced .0003'' coating on the plain strings and on the wrap wire.
