D'Addario Pro-Arte Composites Lightly Polished Classical Strings are wound around a multifilament stranded nylon core, dramatically improving tonation and guaranteeing 2-3 times the longevity.

Pro-Arte Composite Strings are set apart due to the development of a high-projection Composite 3rd string, which balances volume and helps blend tonal flexibility between the basses and trebles, while the lightly polished strings minimize finger noise for ideal recording.

The trebles in all Pro-Arte Strings are checked for quality by computer-controlled machines that use lasers to perform diameter and tension measurements to insure precise intonation.
